Alfalfa-mazing contains all the key nutrients and vitamins needed for your horse or pony to thrive. Containing exceptional levels of calcium, Alfalfa-mazing is the perfect feed for the growth and maintenance of bone strength. Its high protein level promotes muscle growth and repair, and coupled with Alfalfa-mazing’s superior fibre content, this helps maintain all-round health and fitness for your horse or pony. Emerald Green Feeds Alfalfa-mazing and Alfalfa Pellets contain only one ingredient and that’s the alfalfa itself! For instance, no pesticides are sprayed on the growing forages and no preservatives are used in manufacturing. In fact, nothing whatsoever is added or applied. The alfalfa used to make Alfalfa-mazing is cut fresh in the field and then gathered in to be dried very quickly at high temperature in what is, effectively, a huge tumble-drier. It’s then bagged immediately on site at our farm. This process ensures the naturally occurring nutrients are locked in, giving the feed a long and practical shelf life of two years, meaning you can feed it all year round and dip in and out of a bag as your horse or pony’s requirements change throughout the year. All the feeds in the Emerald Green Feeds range are manufactured to strict feed standards with A Poucher and Sons (Bardney Dairies) Ltd affiliated to both FEMAS and BETA NOPS regulations and subject to their regular and stringent inspections, ensuring you can have peace of mind when choosing our natural forage feeds for your equine, alpaca or other grazing animal. The 15kg bags are tightly packed with Alfalfa chop and contain no element of oil or loose pellets to add extra weight.
